Why the percentage on the bottle isn't the whole story: concentration, stability & derivative forms
It's tempting to shop vitamin C serums like laundry detergent. You assume more concentrate means more power. Percentage matters, but it only tells part of the story. Reading percentages realistically
Under 10%
Lower-percentage formulas often use a gentler derivative rather than pure L-ascorbic acid. They're a reasonable entry point for first-time users or sensitive skin.
